Beachware is designed to create the feeling of the ocean and the freshwater lakes of the Northwest. A fluorite blue matte base glaze is applied with a waxy matte white creating a mottled effect over the red iron colored stoneware.
Embedded in the clay is the outline of a fishnet- a universal symbol for the interconnectedness of all life.
